How Season 1 works

  1. Join the DiscordChoose your language and read the rules.
  2. RegisterSign up a team of five (subs allowed), or post in the looking-for-players channel to be matched.
  3. Check the scheduleDates and fixtures are posted in your language channel.
  4. Play on XPlayResults and HMTV stats are posted after every match.

Standings

Teams ranked by VRS score. Teams that are not ranked yet are listed after the ranked ones.

Fair play

A new league lives or dies on trust, so the basics are simple and written down before the first match.

  • One account per player, checked at registration.
  • Matches are played on XPlay and demos are kept, so any report can be checked.
  • Disputes go to the support channel, and the admins decide.
  • Respect in every language: no hate speech and no harassment.

HMTV rating and swing

After each match we analyse the demo and publish a rating for every player.

It starts with kills, deaths, assists, damage per round, KAST and MVPs. Swing adds how much each kill, clutch and bomb play changed the round's chance of being won, so a 1v3 clutch counts for more than a kill in a won round.

Leaderboards and team standings are posted in Discord as the season runs.

No. Post in the looking-for-players channel and we help you find teammates.

On XPlay. You get the server details in your match channel.

What if I don't speak English?

You still play. Hungarian has its own channels.

Who runs the league?

Hungarian Major is an independent community league run by its organizers. Ask them anything in the support channel.
